This is a fantastic small park. Swimming, play ground, and a short wooded trail.
It's nice that a public place to swim has been provided and a nice public park and playground but it's obvious people are not taking care of it. Signs up tell people to not bring pets, to not litter, to not stand or sit on the buoys . There was litter laying around, several dogs there that no one was cleaning up after, bathrooms were a mess and people using the buoys as diving boards or benches. TVA giveth and TVA taketh. It's a great asset to the community but it needs to be appreciated a bit better.
Only thing missing is a splash pad!
I'm a tournament fisherman for bass and there is ample room for up to 40 boats to park but we overflow into the swimming area parking. If your using the double ramps to launch your vessel during the winter, I suggest you stay close to the dock. The other side drops off and can hang a trailer on the frame.
